In loving memory of Uncle Karam 

This painting is titled "Asfour", which means "bird" in Arabic.  Birds are recurring symbol within four different pieces of this collection.  They represent freedom and a connection to God.  They fly close to heaven and intercede prayers on my behalf.

I pray that if I'm meant to find a partner in this life, he respects my desire to fly as high as I want.  I pray he does not clip my wings.

Growing up my Uncle Karam would gift me jewelry from famed Egyptian jeweler, Asfour Diamond & Crystal.
