“The Fear That You Feel Is Not Real”
The subject in this piece believes she is being tied up. In reality, her limbs are free. Truth is, she has bound herself in her own fears.
Fear is often created in our own mind, rooted in the lies we tell ourselves. This painting is a reminder that sometimes the only person stopping us in our selves. Sometimes the only thing holding us back is our fears.
And more often than not, those fears aren’t real.
